Bright, pale yellow. Inviting aromas of lemon, lime, brioche and minerals. Brisk and penetrating, showing almost Chablis-like cut to its flavors of lime blossom, quinine and smoky minerality. This youthfully linear wine from old vines finishes bracing and long, with minty and herbal nuances. Should age gracefully.

(from vines planted in 1954 and a yield of 28 hectoliters per hectare, according to Dancer): Distinct white soil aromas of chalk, citrus fruits and white flowers. Supple and concentrated, with captivating sucrosite to its lively flavors of orange zest and lemon. Finishes dusty, classically dry and long, with a strong element of smoky, stony minerality. Shows the concentration and strength of a wine from very small grapes. Impressive potential here.
