Bright medium red. Blacker fruit aromas of cassis and violet. Sweeter and fatter than the Combe d'Orveaux, with lovely texture for the vintage. Black fruit and violet flavors are enlivened by healthy acidity. Finishes with firm, building tannins and noteworthy persistence.

Bright, full red. Slightly reduced aromas of cherry, raspberry, smoke, chocolate and leather. Denser and fleshier than the Chambolle villages, but also possesses a more serious backbone. Not particularly sweet but intensely flavored, with complicating spice and floral notes.
