Score 96/100 · Drink 2030-2060, Neal Martin, Dec 2023

The 2019 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru takes a little time to find its groove, eventually revealing impressive delineation, mineralité and refinement, with touches of pressed white flowers. This is very succinct. The palate is beautifully balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Complex and mineral-driven with a vivacious and persistent spicy finish, this is a multi-faceted Chevalier-Montrachet that deserves long-term cellaring. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
