Spice herbs, cedar, earth, and sweet red and some black fruits all emerge from the 2019 Château Villa Bel-Air, a forward, charming, enjoyable Graves. There's a touch of dryness in the tannins, but this is enjoyable and should have 7-8 years of drinking.

The 2019 Villa Bel Air is effusive, generous and wonderfully inviting. Sweet red cherry, leather, iron, tobacco, mint and white pepper lend notable complexity to this potent, driving Graves. The long, persistent finish is a thing of beauty.

The 2019 Villa Bel Air is a super-expressive Graves loaded with character. Crushed flowers, herbs, licorice and earthy notes play off a core of ripe berry fruit in a mid-weight yet deceptively powerful wine that is persistent and long. The 2019 is not a huge wine, but it is quite flavorful and a very pleasant surprise.
