Score 90/100 · Drink 2021-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

The 2018 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Boutières soars from the glass with a perfumed bouquet of rose petals, orange rind, raspberries and mossy forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, it's lively and supple, with melting tannins and a hauntingly floral finish. This new cuvée for Chanterêves has turned out beautifully.

The 2018 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Boutières has a ripe strawberry and red cherry bouquet that feels just a little smudged compared to others tasted. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red fruit and missing a little backbone on the finish, although there is an attractive spiciness. Drink over the next three or four years.
