In 2014 the emphasis of the Hohenmorgen seems to have shifted slightly from the customary exhibition of fruit to a more serious demonstration of herbaceous and mineral aromas. A gentle citrus fruit plays second fiddle to an almost austere expression of earth and grindstone minerality. Compact, cool and truly dry interpretation of Riesling Grosses Gewächs. (MS)
