Score 88/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2023

A blend of 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 20% Roussanne, and the rest Picardan and Bourboulenc, the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc sports a medium gold hue as well as enjoyable mulled pear and orange blossom-like aromatics with some spicy, subtle mineral undertones. Medium-bodied, balanced, and enjoyable, it’s a good effort.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2028, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous

The partially barrel-fermented 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc cruises at the same high altitude as the preceding two vintages. Deep straw-colored, it opens with apple skin, dried flowers, pastry, white peach and a pinch of saffron. Full-bodied and loaded with energy, the 2022 carries ample freshness and culminates with persistence on the sapid finale.
