2016 Batard Montrachet

Very concentrated but not heavy or particularly sweet, with its very ripe, slightly exotic mirabelle and lichee flavors framed by surprising acidity. Very round, voluminous, fine-grained wine, finishing with a tannic impression and some finishing warmth. Morey made it clear that this is not his favorite style of Bâtard.
