This balanced, incredibly satisfying Gigondas will keep for a decade.

Brilliant ruby. Black raspberry, cherry and blueberry aromas are complemented by lavender and cracked pepper suggestions. It shows very good depth and energy to its appealingly sweet red and blue fruit and licorice flavors, which slowly firm up and become spicier through the back half. Youthfully gripping tannins frame a long, spice- and floral-accented finish that echoes the licorice note.
