A bright straw/yellow color, the 2022 Chardonnay Aequorin is fantastic, layered with notes of pear, caramel apples, hints of butterscotch, lime blossoms, wet stones, and saline broth. It’s full-bodied, yet it has an electric energy that weaves through the wine, keeping it light on its feet, with a focused and linear drive, mouthwatering lime citrus, and salty earth that lingers long on the finish. Drink 2025-2037.

Super-interesting herbal, honeyed and spicy aromas. It’s intricate, tense, layered, full-bodied and smooth, balanced by a snap of acidity and subtle tannin. Roasted almonds, poached pears and baked apples in the lingering finish. Drink now or hold.
The 2022 Chardonnay Aequorin is seductive from the first tilt of the glass as a whiff of chamomile mingles with crushed almonds, sweet basil, mint and dusty stone. Energetic yet deep, complex and intensely mineral, it delivers a sour citrus infusion and crisp orchard fruit that rattles the senses. Sharply focused, it leaves a spicy ginger inflection and a hint of tart green apple that lingers incredibly long. In 2022 the Aequorin comes exclusively from the Carlisle's Crest vineyard. It was refined in 34% new oak.
