Transparent garnet. Shiraz is more obvious on the nose than the Grenache. Great price! Very smooth and well integrated. A mouthful of vibrant South Australia, with some tannin on the end but not too painfully so. Not the most persistent wine but well put together and much more persistent than you would expect for the money. GV (JR)

This 2020 D'Arry's Original Shiraz-Grenache is really Grenache Shiraz rather than the previous Shiraz Grenache, and it shows both on the nose and in the mouth. There's a juicy clarity to this wine; it offers a fruit bowl of flavor, shaped by fine, pliable tannins. It's uncomplicated, and finished abruptly, but absolutely hits the brief.
