Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2017-2029, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014

The 2013 Pommard 1er Cru les Epenots was raised in 40% new French oak. It has a pure bouquet, the red currant and crushed-strawberry scents neatly carrying the wood. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, focused and tense with an insistent grip toward the finish. There is a fine salinity here and it should drink well after 2-3 years in bottle.
