Score 84-86/100 · Drink 2024-2028, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is the only cuvée to be de-stemmed this year. It has a light and airy nose, fleeting red berry fruit with crushed stone scents. The palate is in a similar style, light and airy, though it attenuates slightly towards the finish. An early-drinking Bourgogne Rouge from Roumier.

Cask sample. Bright, cherry red. On the nose, floral-led red cherries and strawberry. This is light, bright without great volume. Featherlight tannins. Very fresh and primary. (MH)
