Deep ruby. Ripe dark fruits, licorice and a hint of smokiness on the fragrant nose. Done in a lush, fruit-forward style, this wine offers blackberry and cherry flavors that become spicier on the back half. Closes long and smooth, with repeating spiciness and gentle tannic grip.

The easy-drinking 2019 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes L’Aube Syrah matures in second use barrels, so the oak isn't overdone. It delivers enticing florals and purple fruit on the nose, a medium to full-bodied feel on the palate and a long, silky finish. Drink it over the next 5 years.

Spice-accented blueberry, cherry and a hint of black pepper on the fragrant nose. Appealingly sweet and broad in the mouth, showing good depth and clarity to the juicy, smoke-tinged black/blue fruit flavors. Delivers a building floral note and bright, spicy lift on the gently tannic finish, which leaves a hint of violet behind.
