The 2021 Meursault Charmes 1er Cru was tainted by a bit of TCA on the nose. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

The 2021 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru has a fragrant nose with wild peach, hazelnut and shaved almond aromas that gain intensity with aeration. The palate is well balanced with tropical notes, hints of passion fruit and guava, still tensile and fresh with just a hint of lemon rind on the finish lending requisite "bite". Another impressive white from Bitouzet-Prieur.
