Perfumed aromas of peach, nuts and salted butter. Fat and sweet to the point of exotic, with a dominant flavor of apricot. Distinctly warmer and less gripping than the Champs-Pimont. This very ripe, plump wine is a bit heavy and lacking in shape.

(nearly finished) Distinctly stony, chalkier aromas than the Clos de Mazeray. Juicy and firmly built, even a bit skinny, but with good cut to the mineral-driven flavors. Not particularly complex or rich but brisk and fresh. Finishes with a slightly bitter grapefruit pith edge and a trace of appley malic acidity.
