Medium to deep garnet in color with a touch of brick at the rim, the 2015 Odyssée—a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 3% Mourvèdre—offers up open-knit, ready-for-business scents of crème de cassis, rose oil, Chinese five spice and stewed red cherries, plus suggestions of Sichuan pepper, dusty soil and garrigue. The medium-bodied palate (13.5% alcohol) explodes with spicy red and black berry preserves, supported by plush tannins and a fantastic backbone of freshness, finishing on a lingering aniseed note.

First made in 2015 and coming from a mix of Bordeaux and the Rhône, the 2015 Odyssée is a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Grenache (from Gigondas), 20% Syrah and 3% Petit Verdot. This deeper ruby-hued red offers a big bouquet of red and black fruit, leafy herbs, cedarwood, and spice. With medium to full-bodied richness, beautifully ripe, sweet tannins, and a great mouthfeel that has plenty of richness yet stays fresh and lively, it's a beautiful bottle of wine that can be drunk any time over the coming decade.
