70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre. Matured for 18 months on lees, 25% in foudre and 75% in concrete tanks. Cask/tank sample. Tasted blind. Liquorice and red fruits, appealing and seductive nose. The palate is elegant with well-judged ripe and supple tannins, dark fruits, a hint of creamy blueberry compote and a lovely sense of freshness. Excellent extraction here, will drink well relatively young but certainly will age. (AC)
