Score 88/100 · Drink 2020-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021

Offering up aromas of smoky plums, berries and spices, the 2018 Côte de Beaune is medium-bodied, supple and fleshy, with a generous core of fruit, melting tannins and succulent acids. A cuvée that's complemented by declassified barrels of young-vine Beaune and Beaune 1er Cru, it's a fine value.

Open on the nose with citrus and creamy green-apple fruit. Soft and fruity in the middle but with a crisp finish. Builds in the mouth and lasts on the finish. Harmonious white burgundy. (JH)
