The 2020 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has quite a lot of lime on the nose, perhaps a little too much for my own liking as it occludes some of the terroir expression. The palate is well balanced with fine depth, a crisp line of acidity, though my quibble is that there is too much lime here, when I would like more mineralité on the finish. Let’s see how this evolves in bottle.
