Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2050, Neal Martin, Nov 2022

The 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru sports a very slight reduction on the nose, beautifully defined and unfolding in the glass, touches of petrichor and apple blossom. The palate is vibrant on the entry with quite a heavy veneer of oak, though there should be sufficient fruit to support that and soak it up. Fine acidity, light spiced with a dense and muscular finish. Afford this another three or four years in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
