Score 94/100 · Drink 2024-2029, Eric Guido, Vinous, Mar 2024

The 2019 Sauvignon Voglar is simply stunning. Peter Dipoli decided to hold this vintage back due to its youthful intensity and bracing acidity. This is remarkably pretty, blending spring flowers with lime zest, crushed stone and traces of petrol. This is expansive and supple, with depths of saline minerals and piercing citrus fruits giving way to inner herbal tones. The 2019 finishes incredibly fresh and long yet on a note of refinement, leaving a tart lemon rind sensation that puckers the cheeks.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2031, Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2023

The 2019 Sauvignon Voglar is youthfully understated in the glass, yet it's remarkably pretty with wet stone, lime and spring flower aromas. This is silky and pliant on the palate with mineral-tinged orchard fruits and sage. The 2019 finishes remarkably fresh, leaving young kiwi and lime hints to linger. There's a lot of complexity here, but the 2019 still needs time to develop aromatically.
