Tasting notes
The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses La Délicatesse des Sables derives from Groffier's holdings in the sandy, calcareous soils directly below Musigny, with the rows planted north-south, more exposed to the north wind and typically producing more small shot berries. Bursting with aromas of raspberries, exotic spices and petals, it's more ethereal, with a medium to full-bodied, bright and lively palate framed by melting tannins and concluding with a saline finish.

The northern Amoureuses come from the limestone part of the vineyard and is a more mineral-driven wine. This has a more profiled minerality– chalky notes with a greater intensity, more concentration, and a very strong impression of limestone-based fruit. Pomegranate and raspberries. Wow, really a wine for the mineral buffs– effortless and very lively. Drink from 2035.
