Tasting notes
The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Hauts Doix is pretty, offering up an ethereal bouquet of red berries, orange zest, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, pure and fleshy, it's suave and refined, with melting tannins and a saline, mineral finish.

Bright, crunchy fruit but maybe not that much subtlety. A bit bitter. Very etched. Slightly hard work. Drying end. (JR)
The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Hauts-Doix 1er Cru has an exquisite bouquet with detailed, quite minerally red fruit that is very refined in style. The oak is quite well integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit. Boasting fine weight and gentle grip, there's a little plumpness towards the finish, though it retains satisfying delineation with a dash of white pepper on the close. Recommended.
