The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru has more Pinot Noir expression and delineation than the Les Petit Monts this yea—in fact, this is one of the domaine's finest aromatics with real complexity and nuance. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth entry. This is very concentrated and leans more toward the richer side of Vosne-Romanée, though the acidity keeps it in check and there is a long tail on the finish. It is superb.
