Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2022-2026, Jancis Robinson MW, Sep 2022

Full bottle 1,446 g. Transparent ruby. Quite an evolved, earthy nose. Sweet and rich with no rough edges. The ripeness of the vintage is evident but not intrusive. There's just a little dustiness on the finish that's far from unpleasant. A red burgundy that is attractively broad in the beam. A comfortable, comforting wine. Persistent. GV (JR)
