Score 91/100 · Drink 2023-2034, Neal Martin, Mar 2023

The 2017 Echézeaux Grand Cru has an attractive dark berry, cola and light-mushroom-scented nose, well defined if just needing a little more complexity. But the tannins are fine, well-balanced and fresh, with a welcome, subtle leafiness towards the finish. I am intrigued to see how this Grand Cru will age.
