A charming, up-front, undeniably delicious effort, the 2021 Domaine Virginie Thunevin exudes ripe black cherry and blackberry fruits as well as some spice, earthy nuances. It's medium-bodied, balanced, and ready to go.

The 2021 Domaine Virginie Thunevin has a lifted, red plum- and raspberry coulis -scented nose—light but effective. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, moderate depth and a white pepper-tinged finish that pulls up just a little short.
