Tristan Méo now making wine here. Deep crimson. Pretty jazzy nose with even a hint of marmalade! Sweet and polished, though a little hint of oak still. Very drying finish. (JR)

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village comprises 80% from the lieu-dit of Barrauds and 20% Aux Communes. Its fragrant bouquet features vivacious red cherries and raspberry fruit alongside hints of bergamot and blood oranges. The palate is medium-bodied, with succulent ripe tannins and a sweet core of black cherry and boysenberry fruit. This is well balanced if lacking just a little persistence on the finish. It will still give up to a decade's worth of drinking pleasure.
