The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées wafts from the glass with notes of dark berries, orange zest, spices and vine smoke, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and giving palate that's soft and supple.

Cask sample. Bright mid ruby. Sweet ripe red fruits on the nose and palate. Sweeter and less savoury than the Clos de la Maréchale. Fine, fresh acidity, not too pronounced. Rounded, sweet fruit make this very Chambolle. Quite long, too. (MH)

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has an expressive bouquet with brambly red fruit, briar and light orange pith scents coalescing nicely with aeration. The oak is neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. It's a little fleshier than the Village Cru with a hint of white pepper toward the graceful finish. This is not a powerful Les Fuées, but it's very refined.
