The 2018 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village is laden with perfumed and exceedingly pure maraschino cherry and strawberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet core of candied fruit and perhaps just a little too much sucrosity toward the finish, which feels overbearing. Hopefully it will gain more restraint once in bottle.

Aromas of ripe cherries, berries, violets and espresso roast introduce the 2018 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village, a medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular wine that's fleshy and concentrated, with a ripe core of fruit framed by fine tannins, concluding with a nicely defined finish. As usual, it's one of the finest renditions of the appellation to be found along the Côte.
