2023 Nuits St Georges Les Corvees Pagets

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Corvées Pagets 1er Cru is completely destemmed this year. It has fine delineation with red fruit on the nose, a light oatmeal tincture and a hint of pencil shavings developing in the glass. The palate is sweet and slightly confit in style, slightly lower in acidity and higher in alcohol (13.7%), with hints of raspberry and aniseed toward the finish. It's a more opulent style but it works well.
