Pure and only a little severe. Lots of minerality. Needs time – as usual. Quite a drying finish. (JR)

Aromas of raspberries, violets, rose petals and spices introduce the 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode, a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent wine that's deep, seamless and suave, with ripe tannins, lively acids and a long, expansive finish. It's worth a special effort to seek out.

The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru has quite a bit of reduction on the nose in this tasting. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a crisp line of acidity, though the finish is a little linear and lacks a bit of grip and complexity.
