2021 Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon

From the premium wine range offered by Cederberg comes this thickly concentrated and full-bodied red wine. The Cederberg 2021 Cederberg Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon is infused with aromas of dried blackberry, cigar box and sauna wood. It takes the focus off the fruit and places it on the winemaking instead. The wine benefits from more aggressive extraction techniques with pump-overs every six hours during fermentation and two to three manual punch-downs. It ages in 225-liter French barrels for 18 months with 83% new oak. This is a limited 6,893-bottle release (in heavy glass bottles).
