The 2020 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru is more ethereal, unwinding in the glass with scents of raspberries, violets, rose petals and sweet soil tones. Full-bodied, taut and concentrated, it's deep and multidimensional, with lively acids and a layered core of ripe fruit, framed by fine, powdery tannins.

The 2020 Corton Clos-du-Roi Grand Cru, containing 100% whole bunch, has the most perfumed and floral of the trio of Corton’s from the Domaine, seductive, quite feminine. The palate is fleshy and rounded, very smooth and quite polished with hints of mocha and dark chocolate towards the finish. This is deceptively approachable - give it five years in bottle to fully come together.
