The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a fragrant, slightly floral bouquet with white peach and orange blossom, nicely focused and typical of this vineyard. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and vibrant. Quite mineral-driven for a Corton-Charlemagne with plenty of salinity coming through on the finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
