Score 94/100 · Drink 2024-2028, Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2024

The flagship 2022 Languedoc Tête De Bélier Blanc checks in as a mix of Roussanne, Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier, aged 10 months in barrel. It's slightly deeper gold-hued and has a bigger, richer style compared to the Prestige Blanc. Honeyed orange, buttered pineapple, spicy wood, and brioche are just some of the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a layered, ripe mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. This is another powerful, concentrated white from this team that has so much to love. It gains freshness with time in the glass, but this is geared for the dinner table. Blind, could easily be mistaken for a Hermitage Blanc. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years. I love it.
