Notes of pear, orange oil, white flowers and toasted bread introduce Bouchard's 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Bouchères, a medium to full-bodied, bright and chiseled wine that's concentrated and tightly wound, with racy acids and a long, tangy finish. This is very promising.

The 2019 Meursault Bouchères 1er Cru has a little more intensity on the nose compared to the Poruzots, featuring orange zest, mandarin and light hazelnut aromas. The palate is well balanced with good vigor, just a light sour lemon note on the entry and quite a leesy middle and finish. Give this 2–3 years after bottling.
