Score 90/100 · Drink 2025-2033, Neal Martin, Oct 2025

The 2021 Saint-Aubin Frisson d'Avril 1er Cru has a lifted bouquet with lime and orange blossom scents, perhaps even more potent than Marc Colin's en Montceau. The palate is well balanced with a bit of fatness on the mid-palate. Rounded in texture, perhaps missing just a little tension towards the finish, yet the fruit is clean and it will present several years' drinking pleasure. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
