(13.1% alcohol): Bright, dark red-ruby. Wild, complex perfume of licorice, leather, graphite, eucalyptus and sinsemilla. At once dense and juicy, showing a captivating hint of sweetness and lovely inner-mouth aromatic lift to its earth, mint and spice flavors. Finishes with smooth tannins. This fascinating wine turned drier with aeration, suggesting that it should be consumed over the next few years.

Rich, with layers of fruit, this multi-dimensional wine reveals gobs of tannin that are nearly concealed by the wine's superb extraction. Full-bodied and impressive, this great Syrah should age effortlessly for 12-15 or more years.
