Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2025-2037, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with straightforward cherry blossom, dried herbs and light chalky scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity although it doesn't quite kick on towards the finish like Lignier's other cuvées.

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries and plums mingled with mint and spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's a supple, sensual wine that privileges charm and finesse.
