The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Chevrieres 1er Cru is a vineyard orientated east to west, Merlin's parcel east-facing. This has commendable purity on the nose with orchard fruit, light popcorn notes in the background and underlying stoniness emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with fine grip and acidity, subtle white pepper notes and a touch of bitter lemon on the elegant finish. Enjoy over the next decade.
