Lively and seductive, Lignier's 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Chabiots (négoce) wafts from the glass with aromas of raspberries, cherries, sweet spices, plums and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, supple and charming, it's bright and fine-boned, with an elegant, seamless profile.

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Chabiots 1er Cru comes from purchased fruit. It has a very floral bouquet with violets and rose petals fully in control. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit intermingling with orange pith and veins of mandarin. Quite candied on the finish, this has an easygoing personality and best enjoyed over the next decade.
