Full bottle 1,402 g. 68% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 7% Cinsault. Chemin always manages to glower while hiding a smile. Blackberries and brûléed sugar, black figs and olives. It's inky and growly but there's a descant of cold shiso herbs and breathy caraway and crunchy cumin. And despite the shadows and inky slipstreams, there is a tender sweetness at the heart of the wine. Gayda tannins – they remind me of the red panels of a Triumph TR6. Smooth, just curved enough, streamlined, and so cool they're hot. And just a little retro. (TC)

A blend of 68% Syrah, 25% Grenache and 7% Cinsault, the 2021 IGP Pays d'Oc Chemin de Moscou possesses a vibrant, elegant bouquet mingling aromas of red berries, blackberries, pepper, cherries, garrigue, licorice and violet. Delicately juicy and vinous, the wine on the palate is medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with fine-grained tannins and a lively, fresh finish. It has a real potential to improve in the cellar over the next 3-4 years.
