Score 87-90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2005

Deep ruby-red. Wild, somewhat reduced aromas of black raspberry, chocolate, minerals and fresh blood; fresher and more intense than the foregoing samples. Big, sweet, solid and rich, with a finer grain and good underlying minerality. This has more mid-palate depth for its tannins and finishes with a juicy quality.
