Light to mid cherry red. A little more herbal than the Longeroies but still deliciously aromatic. Lifted dark-red fruit, so moreish, fresh and persistent. Tannins are present but super-fine. Likely to be good value. (JH)

The 2014 Marsannay les Favières has the most vibrant, the punchiest bouquet from Audoin with lifted black cherry and black plum scents given a heft by the new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded raspberry and strawberry fruit, moderate definition and a simple, easy-going finish.
