With only 1,300 bottles produced, the 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Franci may not be easy to locate outside the city walls of Montalcino. This is a dark and beautifully saturated wine with a succulent and fleshy personality. The quality of fruit is ripe, soft and slightly sweet. With 48 months of oak aging, this wine also boasts the inner textural fiber to pair with grilled meat or barbecued tri-tip with spicy, smoky sauce.
