2012 Revana Family Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate emerges from the best four blocks on the property, where the soil is a bit rockier. The combination of Clone 7 Cabernet and the location, on the northern side of St. Helena right across the street from Vineyard 29, yields a rich, sumptuous Cabernet built on pure texture and volume. Blue and black fruit, smoke, spices and menthol meld into the creamy, layered finish. This is a very strong showing from Revana and winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown.
