Score 96/100 · Drink 2020-2027, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Sep 2020

The 2018 Pinot Noir Quarter Moon Vineyard, aged 14 months in 50% new French oak, has a medium ruby-purple color and gorgeous scents of crushed blueberries, blood orange, tea leaves, aniseed and loads of amaro-laced red and black berry fruits, bursting with more nuances over time. It's medium-bodied and wonderfully silky and fresh, packed to the gills with spicy flavor layers gently supported by ripe tannins, and it finishes incredibly long and layered. Gorgeous! 2,200 cases were made.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Quarter Moon Vineyard comes from a single vineyard on the Sonoma Coast and was 80% destemmed and spent 14 months in 50% new oak. It has more exotic notes of wild strawberries, black raspberries, candied orange, incense, and dried flowers. This beauty is seamless, medium-bodied, has a bright yet integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's a complete, brilliant Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast that will drink well for a decade.
