2018 Donelan Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard

The 2018 Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard is suave and elegant from the very first taste. Silky tannins wrap around a core of red/blue fruits in a Syrah that captures all of the raciness of the Russian River Valley. There's terrific brightness from the 11% co-fermented Viognier, and plenty of nuance to play off the wine's natural overtness. The Kobler is the most accessible of the Donelan Syrahs. It will drink well with minimum cellaring. As with all the 2018 the balance and overall harmony are unreal.
